Durrant Construction was founded by Lee Durrant who comes from a family of successful builders. We believe that maintaining the family business feel is the key to providing a personal touch.

Safety First
Health and Safety
We do not underestimate the importance of health and safety. Durrant Construction is a health and safety registered company working with an independent health and safety consultancy firm to provide a safe environment, not only for our workers but all site visitors.
Our Policies
At Durrant Construction we adhere to a strict policy complying not only with health and safety regulations but also environmental, legal and moral obligations. Each of our workers is held accountable to the same policies and practices. Policies are reviewed regularly by our health and safety consultant to identify improvement opportunities and training requirements.
Safety on Site
Independent audits are performed at the start of all large projects and a recommendation report is produced detailing additional practices to be implemented on an individual project basis. Site managers are responsible for overseeing the use of relevant signage, protective equipment and safe usage of tools and equipment as well as ensuring first aiders are accessible at all times.
Mental Health
We are promoters of good mental health and wellbeing. With the trade industry fairing poorly in national statistics of mental health sufferers, Durrant Construction is doing its bit to help trades access the same support available to office workers.
In addition to providing a happy and secure work environment, we promote a good work life balance and encourage communication, support and confidentiality between employees.

Will I received a broken down fixed quotation?
Yes, broken down quotations are provided and are fixed based on the scope of works specified. It should be noted that scope may be estimated in some cases where information in not available upfront. This will be detailed in your quotation.
Do you offer any guarantees?
Durrant Construction works with an independent broker to offer our clients full insurance backed guarantees tailored to their project and requirements.
Can I view previous projects Durrant Construction has completed and speak to past clients?
Yes of course. Following quotation, Durrant Construction will provide references for you to contact directly and invite you to view similar projects we have completed. You will also be invited to a working site to meet the team and get a feel for how we work.
Do you have relevant insurances?
Yes, we have public liability insurance, employers insurance and additional insurances covering stock, equipment, injury and legal expenses. We are insured upto £10,000,000.00 and certificate will be provided upon request.
